作品には、海で収集したプラスチックを使っています。大量消費の中で生まれた廃棄物ですが、波に揺られて変化していったそれらには、捨て置けない魅力を感じます。それらをコレクションし作品のなかに陳列することで、そこに新しい美しさを発見していきたいと思い、制作しました。
This artwork is made of plastic pieces that I collected on the beach. Although it’s garbage generated from mass consumption, the forms have changed over time while floating on the waves and now attract me in a strange way so that I just can’t walk by without picking them up. I created this artwork to discover new beauty in this garbage.
